FinBe.org (The Beacon) is an independent research platform that brings together the authorisation registers and warning lists of financial regulators from many countries in one place and makes them machine-readable.
Our financial-provider check queries this database live. When you check a broker or trading platform with us, your browser queries the public FinBe.org interface directly and shows you whether, and by which regulator, the provider is authorised.
Verbraucherschützer.org and FinBe.org pursue the same goal: to protect people from dubious providers before they lose money. No money changes hands between the two projects; we recommend each other because our work fits together well.
